Au niveau des cr\u00eates l\u2019eau est diffus\u00e9e, le sol est souvent \u00e9rod\u00e9, ass\u00e9ch\u00e9, plus superficiel, plus min\u00e9ral. Les vall\u00e9es sont ainsi plus humide que les cr\u00eates. En dirigeant doucement les exc\u00e8s d\u2019eau des vall\u00e9es vers les cr\u00eates, le motif keyline r\u00e9partit et homog\u00e9n\u00e9ise l\u2019humidit\u00e9 dans les paysages.
